But that is exactly what happened during the Indian Super League (ISL) football tournament this year.
ISL along with Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) and International Premier Tennis League (ITPL), which have all just concluded the second season, offer the Indian sports fan a tempting choice other than cricket.
